Biden Loudly Denounced by GOP During SOTU

In case you missed it, there was a State of the Union (SOTU) speech this week, given by none other than the current occupant of the White House, Joe Biden. Two things were crystal clear throughout, though many of the things he [tried to say] were not.

First, Biden is running on an “Average Joe” agenda in 2024, if the speech was meant to debut that campaign. While actual solutions were absent, he made up for it in platitudes and insurmountable promises. Or to put it in terms Biden can understand, he was a real “lying dog-faced pony soldier”.

Secondly, and more importantly, there are not 80 million people on the entire planet who would vote for this man right now. As he fumbled his way through an hour-plus of the typical mundanity, it was ever more obvious that the puppet master is losing their grip on Biden’s medicated strings.

You know things are bad when you get this kind of coverage, from factcheck.org:

“President Joe Biden put his spin on some facts, particularly about the economy, in his Feb. 7 State of the Union address:
• Biden boasted that the 12.1 million jobs created in his first two years were more than the number…added in four years under any president. But that job growth was fueled by a post-pandemic recovery that started under his predecessor, and his comparison doesn’t account for population growth.
• [He] said ‘take-home pay has gone up,’ which is true, but the rise is not as fast as inflation. ‘Real’ weekly earnings, …have gone down.”

The spin and outright lies were plentiful throughout the speech, as the GOP side of the chamber heckled him relentlessly. The media was quick to praise Joe and condemn the “evil” GOP for daring to speak up and openly demonstrate our rights as
Americans to speak freely.

Instead of the usual spin from The View and the likes of James Carville, criticizing Marjorie Taylor Green for her fashion choices, it would be nice to see just one of those vapid pundits address her grievance – that Biden is, in fact, a liar. Discussing a congresswoman’s fashion choices in light of the serious state of our union should make clear that Democrats do not seek solutions – only power.
