Dems Pursue Santos for Being Openly Gay While Republican

In another episode of Believe It or Not – DC Edition, the Congressional Equality Caucus (promotes LGBTQ), introduced a resolution Thursday to remove brand-new congressman, George Santos, from his seat. Ironically to some, and tragic to others, Santos “plays for their team” in a manner of speaking. In fact, he is the first congressman to win a new seat, while being both openly gay and – gasp! – a Republican.

In spite of claiming nothing but love for all gays, the Left has been at his throat since before he ever set foot in his new office. They claim to be the very arbiters of sexual freedom, celebrating said “freedom” with as many scantily clad parades as possible, yet when photos surfaced of a cross-dressing Santos, they used them in hopes of shaming him into resignation. Their relentless pursuit to tear down every word he utters as false must be exhausting for even the weathered politician, yet he seems to remain unfazed and gets big kudos for it.

Santos seems to be taking the “turn the other cheek” approach for now, as he leans heavily on support from fellow GOP congresspeople, including Speaker Kevin McCarthy himself.

When asked last month, McCarthy said, “You know why I’m standing by him? Because his constituents voted for him. I do not have the power, simply because I disagree with somebody on what they have said, that I will remove them from elected office.”

In reality, there would have to be a two-thirds majority in favor of giving Santos the boot, and with the GOP in “control” (barely) for now, it seems unlikely. All of the power gained so very recently, hangs on that tenuous majority grasp, and everyone knows it. Including the Democrats, who detest losing control of anything, and will continue to sink to new, hypocritical lows to achieve their goals.
