Judge Blocks Biden Policy That Rewards Illegal Aliens By Releasing Them With Court Dates

Just the News: Florida federal judge imposed a preliminary injunction on the Biden administration’s “parole with conditions” policy Tuesday.

This policy would have allowed the Biden Administration to enact policies to release migrants without setting court dates.

Judge T. Kent Wetherell listened to arguments given by the state of Florida that the policy was identical to a “Parole + ATD” policy which he had blocked in March, which the White House referred to as “sabotage,” according to Fox News.

He had imposed a two-week temporary restraining order on the policy, just before Title 42 expired last week.

“Florida is entitled to a preliminary injunction prohibiting DHS from “paroling” aliens into the country under the Parole with Conditions policy,” Wetherell stated, Fox News reports.

He added that the order would “promote respect for the rule of law by not allowing DHS to achieve what amounts to an end run around this Court’s decision in Florida through the adoption of a functionally identical policy to the Parole + ATD invalidated in that case.”
