WATCH: CNN Blames Trump for Helicopter, Plane Crash Tragedy

Leave it to CNN to immediately politicize a tragedy and use it as an opportunity to bash President Donald Trump.

Following the horrific incident where a military helicopter crashed into an airliner full of passengers in Washington DC, CNN’s Abby Phillip appears to suggest that Trump is to blame for the midair collision.

“Look, it’s January 29th. We are just nine days out from a presidential transition, an administrative transition. The FAA administrator resigned at the end of the Biden administration. So there is no permanent confirmed FAA administrator right now,” Phillip stated. “This is going to be a time when there’s going to be a lot of public communication and a lot of investigation of what happened here,” she added, seemingly suggesting that the Trump Administration is to blame.

“What do you anticipate this transition period is going to mean for what happens today and tomorrow and in the coming days as we find out what happened here?” Phillip asked former Department of Transportation Inspector General Mary Schiavo.

To which Chiavo said in a follow-up segment, “Air traffic controllers do not come and go with the change of an administration … The politics of the situation should have had no impact whatsoever on air traffic controllers.”

Phillip wasn’t the only CNN contributor to make such a suggestion, as Bakari Sellers also suggested it was Trump’s fault for ordering a hiring freeze for federal workers.

He posted on X less than an hour after the crash, “8 days ago,” with a screenshot of a news report about the freeze.

After getting blasted, Sellers deleted the post and apologized. “I deleted the post because timing matters. Politics at this point does not. I fu**ed up, I own that. I am very prayerful but I’m also very frustrated upset and disturbed with where we are as a country. I recognize, and I will do better,” he wrote. “The only thing that matters is rescuing the survivors, and ensuring this never happens again.”

Too late. We already saw it.

Trump is Serious About Buying Greenland – ‘This is Not a Joke’

According to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Donald Trump is very serious about acquiring the country of Greenland. He said that the president’s comments are “not a joke” and that it is in the United States “national interest” to do so.

“This is not a joke. This is not about acquiring land for the purpose of acquiring land. This is in our national interest and it needs to be solved,” Rubio said during his appearance on “The Megyn Kelly Show”.

His remarks come just days after Trump had an explosive 45-minute call with Denmark’s Prime Minister, which left Danish officials “utterly freaked out.”

According to one of the officials on the call, “[Trump] was very firm. It was a cold shower. Before, it was hard to take it seriously. But I do think it is serious and potentially very dangerous.”

“The intent was very clear. They want it. The Danes are now in crisis mode. The Danes are utterly freaked out by this,” the official added. “It was a very tough conversation. He threatened specific measures against Denmark such as targeted tariffs.”

Trump Warns Tariffs Coming Saturday for Mexico & Canada

0

On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced that he will likely be moving forward with placing 25 percent tariffs on Mexico and Canada, stating on Saturday – February 1.

“I’ll be putting the tariff of 25 percent on Canada and Mexico, and we will really have to do that because we have very big deficits with those countries,” he told reporters. “Those tariffs may or may not rise with time.”

Epoch Times reports:

He added that the administration will impose the tariffs “for a number of reasons” including the influx of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border, fentanyl trafficking, and the trade deficit with Mexico and Canada.

Trump had announced those tariffs days before he was elected in November. After his inauguration, he said they would go into effect starting Saturday.

A decision regarding exception for oil imports is still to come, the president said. “We may or may not. We’re going to make that determination, probably tonight, on oil. Because they send us oil, we’ll see. It depends on what the price is. If the oil is properly priced, if they treat us properly, which they don’t.”

“Mexico and Canada have never been good to us on trade,” Trump noted. They have “treated us very unfairly on trade and we will be able to make that up very quickly because we don’t need the products that they have.”

Faux-cahontas Warren: ‘Hell No’ Dems Not Backing Down on Trump

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren, infamously known as Fauxcahontas, appeared on ABC’s “The View” on Thursday and declared that the Democratic Party will never support President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin began, “I want to ask you, what do you think Democrats need to pull themselves out of sort of this hole that they’re in since Trump has been elected, and who do you see as the leader of the Democratic Party at this moment?”

Warren replied, “So, look, the thing we need to do is get off our butts and get in the fight. I get it. It hurts to lose to Donald Trump. It hurts to lose the Senate. It hurts to lose the House. We don’t have all the power we would like to have. Sure, that’s what elections do. We believe in Democracy. We accept the outcome of elections. We are not without power. What the Republican extremists are hoping is that we will all just be so demoralized that we will curl up in a ball  just say, you do whatever you want. No, not only no, hell no.”

She continued, “The nominees are terrible. We have to be in the fight.”

Warren added, “We need a government that doesn’t just work for a handful of billionaires and insiders. We need a government that works for all of us.”

‘The View’ Co-Hags Mock Leavitt – ‘Only Chosen for Her Looks’

0

At 27-years-old, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is the youngest person in history to ever hold the role. In addition to being young, she is beautiful. However, neither of those factors touch the fact that her policies and experience quality her for the position.

The co-hosts of The View seem to throw their feminist views to the wind when it comes to Leavitt, claiming that she was only given the job due to her looks.

“I think she’s probably been put in there because, according to Donald Trump, she’s a ‘10,’” Behar belittled. “You know that’s what it is!”

One panelist attempted to refer back to Leavitt’s prior government experience, but was disregarded.

“I would like her to do homework. She said something yesterday that pissed me off, that was, ‘there will be no wokeness here.’ Let me explain, without that wokeness, you might not have that job,” Whoopi Goldber chimed in.

The conversation was immediately ridiculed on social media as X users called out the hypocrisy of The View. A show meant to “champion women’s empowerment” is now tearing another woman down, degrading her accomplishments to nothing more than her appearance.

“Well that sounds racist,” one user tweeted.

“Well, to be fair, there’s not a chance in hell she got her job on the view because of her looks,” another joked about Behar.

“If jobs are based on looks how tf did these cows get on air?” another joined in.

Let the record show that before she as appointed as the White House presss secretary, Leavitt served as the national press secretary for the Trump 2024 campaign. Before that, she was the communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik. Leavitt also held an earlier position as assistant press secretary in the Trump White House. In addition, Leavitt was a spokesperson for a major pro-Trump super PAC.

She is qualified. She just happens to be pretty as well.

Racist Stacey Abrams Claims GOP is Making It ‘Safe to Discriminate Again’

0

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams appeared on MSNBC’s “The Reid Out” on Wednesday and aired out her pea-brain thoughts – claiming that Republicans have made it “safe to discriminate” by eliminating DEI programs.

No, more like we are making it fair for everyone to be hired based on their skill level and not their skin color.

Abrams declared, “While Donald Trump may be the avatar, he’s not an outlier as long as the rest of the Republican Party suborn what is happening. Whether it’s Stephen Miller at the podium or a U.S. senator they are all agreeing to the premise of Project 2025. Which is they want to hoard opportunity and legalize discrimination. We have spent 248 years as a nation undoing our original sins, which include slavery, silencing women, denying native Americans their citizenship a whole host of challenges. But what we’ve done since then, we’ve passed the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments, which, by the way, you can’t rescind with an executive order.”

The failed gubernatorial candidate continued, “This is the same man that bought him billboards saying that the Central Park Five should be put to death. This is not new behavior. This is also the man who began or at least fomented very aggressively the trope about Barack Obama. So let’s be clear. But this is not a bug this is a  feature because those who may not necessarily agree with Christian Nationalism and may revile the notion of racial discrimination seem very comfortable with the possibility that they don’t have to compete anymore if these communities and if these groups can’t protest discrimination.”

Abrams added, “That is what they’re saying, Republicans right now are helping make it safe to discriminate.”

TDS: Federal Judge Releases Illegal with Felony Charges from ICE Detention

0

Instead of upholding the law and his oath as a judge, federal Magistrate Judge Gabriel Fuentes decided to let his hatred for President Donald Trump override his duty.

The Chicago judge released a Venezuelan illegal immigrant who was detained during a Chicago immigration raid over the weekend. The suspect, 24-year-old Edward Martinez-Cermeno, was previously arrested on felony charges.

So why would a judge release an illegal immigrant with felony charges?? He claims that Martinez-Cermeno was not a flight risk.

Trending Politics reports:

Martinez-Cermeno, who was a police officer in Venezuela before illegally entering the United States, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Sunday for making the illegal entry. In addition to the charge for illegally entering the United States, Martinez-Cermeno was arrested on felony theft charges by Chicago police in January of last year. He ultimately failed to appear for his court appearance, leading to an additional arrest warrant.

During his initial court appearance before federal Magistrate Judge Gabriel Fuentes of the Illinois Northern District Court, the illegal alien’s public defender argued that his client was not a flight risk due to the fact that he has an asylum hearing scheduled for April 2026. Judge Fuentes ultimately ordered Martinez-Cermeno’s release after agreeing that his scheduled asylum hearing, as well as his “ties to the community,” meant that he is not a flight risk.

The judge ultimately ruled that immigration officials did not have the “legal paperwork necessary for detaining and deporting him” and ordered his immediate release. Martinez-Cermeno was then freed from the MCC federal prison in downtown Chicago on Tuesday after spending roughly 48 hours in custody.

“This kind of case is what we call a mandatory release case, meaning that this man has to be released unless the prosecutor can actually prove that there is a, quote, ‘serious risk’ that he will flee the jurisdiction if he’s released and they would need to prove that by what we call a preponderance of the evidence,” explained Alison Siegler, Professor of Law for the University of Chicago’s Law School, claiming that Fuentes “absolutely did the right thing here.”

Too bad Martinez-Cermeno was soon re-arrested by ICE agents, and is currently “in custody” at a detention center in Indiana.

His re-arrest happened mere hours after Trump signed the Laken Riley Act, which requires federal authorities to detain any illegal immigrant accused of crimes.

The bill was named after University of Georgia student Laken Riley, who was killed by an illegal alien from Venezuela while out on a jog. Riley’s killer, an illegal who has since been sentenced to life in prison, had a lengthy criminal record across multiple states before committing the murder.

With the Laken Riley Act now signed into law, illegal aliens charged with non-violent crimes, such as Martinez-Cermeno, will be arrested and scheduled for deportation.

“Under the law I’m signing today, the Department of Homeland Security will be required to detain all illegal aliens who have been arrested for theft, burglary, larceny, shoplifting,” Trump said on Wednesday. “Today’s signing brings us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime in our communities once and for all.”

WATCH: Dem Mayor Loses Wig During Town Hall Brawl

0

During a town board meeting, an Illinois mayor jumped into a bawl that broke out between her boyfriend and an activist…..and the whole thing spiraled into utter chaos.

Dolton, Illinois Mayor Tiffany Henyard was filmed losing her wig during a fight that broke out happened after activist Jedidiah Brown called the mayor a derogatory name.

In what looks like a ghetto movie scene, Heynard’s wig was ripped from her head and went flying across the room as onlookers gasped. Instead of de-escalating the situation, she joined in on the flying fists. Unreal.

WATCH:

It all started after Brown called Heynard a b*tch and called her for resignation. Moments later, boyfriend Kamal Woods appeared and confronted Brown.

By the time police arrived on scene, everyone involved had already fled the scene and no one was arrested.

Trending Politics reports:

Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot recently concluded an investigation into Mayor Henyard’s financial management, revealing significant mismanagement and a lack of transparency. The report found that village credit cards were used for unauthorized purchases, with over $170,000 spent on travel and $51,000 on restaurant expenses.

Additionally, Amazon purchases exceeded $218,000, including nearly $50,000 for a skating rink. The village’s financial health plummeted from a $5.61 million surplus in 2022 to a $3.65 million deficit by 2024. Trustees were allegedly denied financial reports, and the village faces 48 lawsuits, including 12 over Freedom of Information Act violations, as reported by NBC5.

This month, a judge also found Henyard in contempt of court for reportedly failing to approve promised liquor licenses. After months of delays, the judge’s decision compels Henyard to sign off on the licenses, enabling the opening of St. Patrick’s, a three-story restaurant and banquet hall. The establishment’s attorneys stated that this ruling allows the business to commence operations, according to WGN9.

The meeting was called to reinstate the town’s insurance policies, which had rendered residents without any social services for more than a month.

Corrupt Dem Senator Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison

0

On Wednesday, former Democrat Senator Bob Menendez was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison. To date, this is the harshest punishment issued to a U.S. senator in a corruption case.

Menendez was convicted after participating in a bribery and foreign influence scheme that spanned for years. He allegedly accepted bribes in the form of gold bars, large chunks of cash, as well as other benefits in exchange for political favors.

Trending Politics reports:

During sentencing, U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein described the case as one of “rare gravity” and denied Menendez’s repeated requests for leniency. The former senator broke down in tears in the courtroom, pleading for mercy as the judge issued the sentence.

“I have lost everything,” Menendez said while breaking down in tears. “Other than family, I have lost everything I care about. Every day I am awake is punishment. I am far from a perfect man… in half-century of public service, I have done far more good than bad.”

“I take no pleasure in this sentence,” Stein said before issuing a sentence.“You are quite right about your work. You worked your way up to a senator, to the chair of foreign relations committee.”

“You were successful, powerful, stood at apex of political system. All letters are proof. Somewhere along the way, you lost your way,” the judge continued “Somewhere along the way you became, I’m sorry to say, a corrupt politician.”

Defense attorney Adam Fee urged Stein to acknowledge Menendez’s extensive public service history, suggesting a maximum sentence of eight years. “Despite his decades of service, he is now known more widely as gold bar Bob,” Fee claimed.

In September 2023, Menendez, his wife Nadine, and three businessmen were indicted on charges of federal bribery. The allegations painted a sordid picture of a senator accepting bribes—ranging from cash and gold bars to a luxury car—in return for favors to these businessmen and foreign entities, including the Egyptian government.

Prosecutors detailed how Menendez allegedly shared sensitive U.S. information with Egyptian officials and meddled in legal proceedings to benefit his associates. His trial, which unfolded over nine weeks in a Manhattan federal court, ended in July 2024 with his conviction on 16 counts, including bribery, extortion, acting as an unregistered foreign agent, and obstruction of justice.

Menendez is now marked as the first sitting senator to be convicted of operating as a foreign agent. Shortly after, he resigned from his New Jersey seat, in August 2024.
