Twitter CEO’s Controversial Take on Drug War

There has never been a more regulated, legalese-addled society than we now have in America, yet crime and corruption seem to flourish regardless. Congress alone has enacted more than 30,000 statutes since 1789, and that only scratches the surface of what now dictates and directs our lives, from sea to shining sea, in what used to be considered a “free country”.

One thing is certain, as any fair-minded individual will ascertain — more laws do not create a safer, law-abiding society. In fact, it seems to be apparent that the opposite is true, and the simple reason is that morality cannot be mandated.

For lesser drugs, I don’t really disagree. But fentanyl is a biological weapon. A tiny amount can kill a person – or an entire population. Much too dangerous, and this is only a problem because of our open borders. The cartels and the CCP must be swiftly shut down.

Outlaw anything and that only gives more power to criminals and the corrupt elites they support in government and big business. There is no such thing any more as a “conflict of interest” when dealing with the level of corruption and crony-ism openly paraded before our disbelieving eyes. The state regularly abuses and subjugates the “great unwashed” civilians with incessant law-making, all the while, living above the very laws they dictate.

Nobody believes that “…nobody is above the law…” jargon any longer – as it’s repeated by hypocritical bureaucrats from their bully pulpits. A more accurate idiom would be “it is not what you know, but who you know” – and it’s destroying the very fabric of our great Union, thread by thread.

Just the News: On Monday, Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk proposed making fentanyl legal as a possible solution to slow or stop the large number of drug overdoses to which it has been linked.

Musk, the CEO of Twitter, made the comment in response to a tweet that includes an image a woman who seems to be saying, “Most fentanyl sellers… are trying to survive under the same destructive, racist system that replaced opium with morphine, then heroine, then fentanyl: the War on Drugs.”

The libertarian-minded Musk replied: “I think we should legalize it. The probability of overdose or a bad batch is greatly reduced if there is actual [Quality Assurance] & regulation.”

Musk then used the failed 1920’s prohibition on alcohol as justification for ending the so-called war on drugs, calling alcohol “a legacy drug from olden times when we had no technology!”

“Prohibition of alcohol in the United States caused the greatest increase in organized crime in our history. How many times do we have to learn this lesson?!,” Musk concluded.

Fentanyl is the most lethal narcotic on the market. The deadly drug reportedly kills 150 people every day in the U.S. End JTN.
